Berks County Industrial Development Authority

BCIDA is a 49 year old public sector Authority that promotes the economic growth of Berks County with the ultimate goal of creating or retaining jobs and building non-residential tax base. The main focus of the BCIDA's activities include 1) serving as a conduit issuer of tax-exempt private activity bonds for manufacturers and non-profits; and 2) developing/redeveloping distressed and challenged properties to shovel-ready sites.
