Fast-growing commercial lender has an immediate opening for a Collateral Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be very detail-oriented, have strong follow-up skills, and have experience in any of the following fields: mortgage lending, banking, title insurance, paralegal.
Duties will include, but may not be limited to:
• Ensuring timely receipt of collateral packages post-closing, reviewing them for completeness and accuracy, and forwarding them to custodian.
• Helping to identify and clear post-closing collateral exceptions, such as missing borrower signatures and incorrect title policies.
• Liaising with title companies and settlement agents for receipt of trailing documents, including title policies and recorded documents.
• Coordinating borrower payoff requests.
• Preparing and shipping mortgage assignments and allonges upon loan sale.
