We’re profitable, growing and are excited to add another Real Estate Analyst to our team!

We are in the process of launching a subsidiary platform, called ReAllocate, where we will be bringing real estate investments to Registered Investment Advisors around the country by providing customized investment recommendations based on our proprietary risk quantification methodology. 

We’ve recently completed a round of financing for the company with one of the nation's largest RIA’s as our lead investor and are focused on growing faster than ever before! 

Who you are:

RealCrowd is looking for a detail oriented real estate analyst and diligence professional who's looking to translate your skills and creativity into efficiency and growth for a Portland, Oregon based startup. Your experience ideally includes a background in, or a desire to learn, underwriting varied real estate product types, performing base due diligence on real estate managers and possibly understanding the intricacies of joint venture structures and waterfalls. You have experience in a fast paced capital markets environment and are willing to go that extra step to put procedures in place that will increase efficiency and aren't afraid to challenge how things are done.

You are flexible and love variety in your work. As can be typical with smaller companies, this position will carry various duties and will evolve with the needs of the company as it grows. Some of these duties can be exciting, but others can also be tedious. Below are a few of the things you'll typically be responsible for:

  • Due diligence and underwriting of individual assets, including multifamily, office, retail and industrial

  • Due diligence and background check process for real estate managers 

  • Research and analyze market and asset level data

  • Prepare internal and external diligence/underwriting reports

  • Compilation and tracking of asset performance over time and ongoing reporting 

  • Assistance in creating underwriting methodology and risk underwriting models 

  • Interfacing with real estate managers to ensure completeness and accuracy of provided information

  • Working directly with Real Estate Analyst and Head of Real Estate to effectively communicate and complete Sponsor and offering diligence processes

  • Providing quality assurance on Marketplace campaigns to confirm accuracy with official offering documents

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, and/or Real Estate (Preferred)  

  • 1 year of real estate or related experience (Preferred) 

  • Experience with CoStar, Thompson Reuters CLEAR, Secretary of State Filings (Plus) 

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills (Required) 

  • Ability to gather, organize, coordinate, and interpret data from disparate sources (Required) 

  • Excellent internet research skills (Required) 

  • Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills (Required) 

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills (Required)

  • Ability to keep a cool head under pressure while managing both internal staff needs and those of our customers

  • Ability to demonstrate detailed analysis of real estate manager diligence process and preparation of outbound reports

Logistics:

While we are currently operating in a totally remote environment during the current COVID-19 health crisis, we anticipate assembling our team once again in the Portland, Oregon area in the future. Relocation is not a must, but an openness to the conversation is a plus.
