Construction Manager, Multifamily

We are a long-standing, privately held commercial real estate firm based in Beverly Hills, CA.   We currently own over 4500 multifamily units in high growth markets including Dallas, Austin, Raleigh, Nashville and Atlanta.   

We are seeking a Construction Manager responsible for the execution of  capital improvement projects across our existing portfolio as well as future acquisitions.    This role will work with the various project stakeholders including contractors, project management teams, company principals to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.  

As we continue to grow our multifamily portfolio, this role can develop into a key senior level position that will be responsible for managing multiple construction managers in various markets.  

This role can be based in Dallas, Atlanta or Raleigh. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed due diligence on prospective acquisitions for renovations/capital projects
• Assist in the creation of the business/investment plan with the acquisitions' team
• Manage the capital/renovation budget to ensure adherence to the approved business plan and to forecast renovation spend for each asset
• Request proposals from contractors and vendors for capital improvement projects
• Oversee contractors and vendors to ensure project is on schedule
• Interface with contractors and property managers to schedule interior renovations per the asset business plan
• Weekly reporting and tracking of projects
• Review and approve invoices for payment processing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from four year university
• Minimum 4 years in construction and/or project management, preferably Multifamily
• Preferably has a network of contactors and vendors in target markets
• Computer Literacy
