Our team is responsible for over $100mm+ in development, construction, and investment, primarily in Philadelphia. We own and manage just under 2 million square feet of real estate, including commercial, residential, mixed-use, and vacant lots. Together with our partners, we are:

Role Overview
The Development Finance Analyst will support in piecing together capital stacks for the acquisition, development, and leasing of large-scale urban industrial, commercial, and residential projects. They will create, analyze, and present financial models, interface with lenders and investors, and organize large scale capital raising efforts. They will also help Shift analyze potential growth opportunities, including new funds or projects in other cities.
Skills and Experience

2-4 years of work experience in a real estate or finance setting

Experience building and manipulating financial models in Excel

Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and articulate primary ideas in a presentation

Experience and confidence in managing external relationships

High level of organization, and ability to keep many balls up in the air at once

Dedication to improving outcomes in low-income communities

Intellectual curiosity and a desire to work in a fun but challenging entrepreneurial environment
