VICE PRESIDENT,  PARTNER ENGAGEMENT (EMERGING MANAGER FOCUS)

Full-time (approximately 40-60 hours a week depending on deliverables) remote position for an experienced professional expected to interface with clients and prospects of Alliance Global Advisors.  Individual must be client-focused, possess an innovative mindset, be knowledgeable about industry best practices (for investors and investment managers) and driven to succeed.

Position Summary

Alliance / Alliance Client Responsibilities

  • Oversee Alliance Analysts and serve as an intermediary between Managing Partners and Analysts
  • Contribute to Alliance’s adherence to Industry Best Practices and make recommendations for changes as appropriate
  • Contribute to Alliance Marketing Initiatives and when necessary, contribute to writing thought leadership pieces on behalf of Alliance
  • Contribute to the production of Alliance Masterclasses, review and update twice annually (more often as needed)
  • Contribute to monthly Blog content creation and maintain responsibility for four blogs per year, with assistance from Alliance contractors, as necessary)
  • Provide a unique and complementary skillset and contribute to a particular area of expertise (Operations/Reporting, ESG, Technology & Innovation, Emerging Managers, etc.)
  • Manage Alliance team members by coordinating firm level and client level projects and deliverables across teams;  delegate/assign tasks;  progress projects from start to finish
  • Serve as primary point of contact on designated group of Alliance clients (with a focus on Emerging Managers)
    • Lead Alliance client calls
    • Maintain deliverable schedule
    • Oversee / prepare client call agendas
    • Oversee management of client deliverables (getting items from point A to point B, with dedicated Team assistance)
  • Identify and establish new client leads
  • Participate in prospecting calls/videos
  • Travel as necessary for client meetings and conferences (limited travel expected)
  • Oversee and Opine on Client Policies & Procedures for designated clients
  • Participate in calls with Consultants and LPs as needed to stay in touch with the investment community
  • Track individual/team tasks and update CRM in real-time

Emerging Manager Suite Responsibilities

  • Work directly with Co-Founders in a leadership role, developing a program to satisfy Emerging Manager client needs and leading Client correspondence
  • Develop and implement a short-term and long-term corporate growth strategy for the Alliance Global Advisors Emerging Manager Platform
  • Oversee, create new and update existing content creation (monthly blogs, research materials and other marketing collateral) related to Emerging Manager and other Alliance client needs
  • Identify opportunities and participate in discussions related to business growth and expansion (target 4-5 prospect calls each month, uncover Emerging Managers with high growth potential)
  • Work alongside Alliance marketing professionals to develop/improve/review marketing collateral targeting Emerging Managers
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, reporting guidelines and trends as necessary in the Emerging Manager sector, alerting Alliance team as needed
  • Understand competitor initiatives as it pertains to Emerging Manager advisory services
  • Participate in conferences/panels focusing on Emerging Managers and report key findings to Alliance team
  • Create satisfied Emerging Manager clients, with a goal of converting Emerging Manager clients to long term retainer clients and/or sources of referral

Requirements/Preferences

  • Candidate must exhibit knowledge of Limited Partner, General Partner and Consultant processes and expectations
  • Candidate should have appropriate education and minimum of seven (7) years of real estate investment experience with a Consultant, Limited Partner or General Partner
  • Candidate should contribute to diversity of thought, and have a designated area of expertise
  • Candidate must be willing to grow with Alliance Global Advisors as it develops new products and offerings to the investment industry
  • Candidate should review and be willing to support the Guiding Principles of Alliance Global Advisors

 

 

Compensation, Location & Hours

  • Contract Position, no benefits currently offered
  • Annual compensation commensurate with experience
  • Annual Discretionary Bonus, considering the following elements
    • Team Member Performance
    • Performance of Business
    • New Business / Lead Generation
  • Remote work environment: Alliance is headquartered in Naples, Florida.  However, you choose where you live and work.
