Castle Park Investments, LLC, a fast-growing real estate private equity firm based in NYC, is an ambitious new incumbent owner/operator of assets in the US manufactured housing and recreational vehicle (RV) resort sector.

 

CPI is seeking a hardworking, skilled and goal driven Head of Deal Sourcing to grow with the company, be a key entrepreneurial leader, working in-house to identify and close new deals.

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Based at the firm’s headquarters in Chelsea, you’re in a newly created client facing position responsible for leading all aspects of acquisition pipeline development to hit CPI's aggressive AUM growth goals.

 

CPI has 4 key in-house value deliverables, the ‘Castle Park Pillars’ that outline the company’s core vision, accountabilities, and rules of behavior. The Head of Deal Sourcing will be accountable for promoting the Castle Park Pillars internally and with external clients.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific goals and duties will include but not limited to:

Reporting to the company’s managing partners, you’re responsible for new business development through direct outreach to brokers and property owners. You will also manage a deal tracking pipeline, and negotiate the terms of acquisitions.

  • Primary responsibility is to develop and maintain an aggressive deal pipeline in markets nationally through direct outreach to owners by using excellent phone and communication skills
  • Liaison, develop and cultivate relationships with industry brokers
  • Understand valuations, financial statements, asset propositions, and income streams.
  • Be the expert by researching industry trends and markets.
  • Present pipeline and closing updates at weekly meetings.
  • Managing third-party researchers and data providers.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven track record of performance on executing sales and lead growth. Excellent sales, sales management, negotiating, and brokerage skills.
  • Self-motivated, client service focused; taking landlords and sellers in the direction they need to go.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, studies in real estate, business, or finance preferred.
  • 1-2+ years experience in brokerage, preference for broker management experience in financial sales, banking, and investment subscriptions. Preference for candidates with experience in real estate, but not required.
  • Strong Excel skills, ability to discern qualitative and demographics data, and an understanding of capital stacks.
  • Outstanding written, oral, meeting leadership, and organizational problem-solving skills. Hands-on dynamic personality that thrives with multiple simultaneous priorities in a demanding goal-driven environment.
  • Comfortable with significant performance-based compensation
