Description


The Company is a privately-owned, independent real estate investment, development and management firm. The Company has acquired or developed more than $25 billion of property on behalf of various investment funds, institutional clients, and its own account, encompassing all major property types. The Company is based in New York City, with regional offices in Palm Beach and Mexico City.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Excel and Argus based property level financial models on existing portfolio of retail, office and multifamily properties
  • Draft investor memorandums for significant transactions, capital calls and major decisions
  • Perform detailed lease analysis and draft related approval memos
  • Track and update fund level returns
  • Perform annual hold/sell and other performance analysis and quarterly valuations
  • Assist with creation of annual business plans and budgets
  • Develop and create monthly and quarterly reporting packages for capital partners and lenders
  • Conduct market research and analysis and help maintain relationships with 3rd party information providers
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to assist asset managers and senior management. Liaise with property management, accounting and leasing teams
  • Assist Acquisitions and Development teams as needed

 

 

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Real Estate, Economics, Accounting or Finance.
• 1-3 years of relevant analyst experience.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and Argus Enterprise software
• Understanding of general finance, accounting, leasing and capital market concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to turn financial analysis into concise written and verbal reports
