CrossHarbor Capital Partners is a real estate focused private equity firm that invests in a wide variety of opportunistic and value-oriented commercial real estate transactions where the conditions exist for compelling absolute returns over a short and medium duration. Overview of Position:
Due to our continuous growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented tax professional to join our company. This position will report directly to the Tax Manager. The focus is on tax compliance in the partnership and corporate taxation areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and review of partnership and corporate tax return work papers and related returns and forms, including ensuring all tax returns are prepared timely and accurately and in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Preparation and review of quarterly tax estimates, tax payments and ad hoc filings.
  • Assist with responding to notices from federal, state and local tax authorities.
  • Utilize fixed asset management software to maintain fixed assets.
  • Research tax questions and handles special projects as needed.
  • Proactively manage project deadlines and openly communicate with upper management on the status and progress of tasks/projects.
  • General accounting support and collaboration with other departments within the organization.
  • Assist with general administrative functions of the accounting and tax department.
  • Stay up to date with new federal and state legislative developments.
  • Perform special projects as requested by Vice President of Tax and Accounting.
Qualifications:
  • Candidates should have broad-based analytical skills, superior capabilities in cash flow modeling, and outstanding communication skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for candidates concentrating in real estate, finance and/or accounting.
  • Approximately 2 to 6 years of related post-undergraduate experience preferred.
  • Exceptional financial analysis and modeling skills utilizing Microsoft Excel and Argus. Proficient in additional MS office programs including Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively meet deadlines.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Working knowledge of joint venture partnerships and various investment structures.
  • Outstanding level of attention to detail, accountability, integrity, and ethics.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and positive individual with strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels.
