If so, we would like to speak with you about joining Intracorp as an Analyst in our Capital Markets group. The analyst will be immersed in all aspects of real estate investment and financing from day one.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Capital Markets Analyst plays in a key role in performing financial analyses that inform acquisition and development decisions, support debt and equity transactions and assist in the implementation of the investment business plan for Intracorp’s residential development projects.
In the role, you will:
- Create, analyze and review proformas, budgets, cash flows and partnership models;
- Model debt and equity structures to maximize project returns and mitigate risk;
- Work closely with the acquisitions team, assess real estate acquisition and equity investment opportunities across Austin, Newport Beach and Seattle;
- Assist with the underwriting, marketing, due diligence and closing of project finance loans and equity partnerships;
- Provide financial analysis and related support to operational units to inform development decisions;
- Develop and maintain various financial and management reports;
- Participate in various capital markets initiative and special projects;
- Research and monitor developments in financial markets; and
- Complete research projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- The ideal candidate would have a post-secondary education in finance and/or real estate.
- You are a recent graduate with up to two years of financial or business analytical experience. Experience in the areas of real estate development, construction or project finance would be beneficial.
- Strong Excel modeling skills and high proficiency with other Microsoft Office software.
- Advanced finance theory knowledge including thorough understanding of DCF analysis, IRR and other valuation tools.
- A proven self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- A versatile team player comfortable working with cross-functional teams with superior communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
- Highly methodical with strong attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
