About us

Summit Communities (A division of Summit360 Capital, llc.) is an eighteen-year-old, Denver-based business that manages apartment buildings on behalf of our investors. We work hard to deliver a quality resident experience in the form of clean, well maintained and positive communities, and to provide superior management services to the building owners in the form of accurate detail, low vacancy, and strong financial performance. We are looking for a Part-Time Controller to lead our accounting team. If you are a numbers person who loves accounting and has strong skills in managing the finance and accounting function, we’d love to talk with you.

Why this position is important

If you think it’s important for people to have great communities to live in, if you love “getting the numbers right,” and if you can provide great service to property owners needing accuracy and visibility into the financial performance of their properties, we’d love to talk with you. The Controller is vital to our business operations. Our customers count on us to have accurate and timely accounting in place for all the properties, to collect rent and other income thoroughly and efficiently, to track and manage expenses accurately, and to provide key reporting information so the properties can be effectively managed within an asset portfolio. Our tenants rely on us to know what they paid when, what they owe, to be fair and to communicate with them. In short, accounting is a huge part of what we do, and this position is key in our company.

They lead internal and external financial reporting to our owner customers, including acquisition and disposition accounting for the properties. The Controller will prepare an annual budget and ensure that billings and income-generating activities are accurate and optimized.
