Job Summary: This is an exceptional opportunity to support various construction projects in Life Sciences/ Pharmaceutical facilities. Supports Development Facilities Services Engineers as a resource to address equipment failures and implement process improvements. This includes interfacing with Maintenance, Pilot Plant Operations, and Quality teams to address various facilities projects.

Supports Engineers to deliver the highest quality Engineering services. Ensure Facilities/Utilities systems remain appropriate and fit for use every time they are used. Deliver Utilities effectively, efficiently and meeting all compliance requirements. This position will support critical facilities sites.

Projects less than $10k in budget and supporting up to 10+ projects at once.

Location: Indianapolis Indiana.

QUALIFICATIONS

Position Responsibilities: To maintain and improve the utilities, facilities, and equipment in order to effectively meet customer requirements. These requirements include regulatory compliance, good safety practices, effective utility of assets, and effective use of funds.

Serve as technical contact for Maintenance, Operations and Quality. Support Maintenance business processes by entering work orders to address equipment failures and modifications.

Support Process Teams; process improvements, productivity and energy savings.

Assist Engineers with Quality system requirements.

Assist Engineers with meeting compliance requirements.

Improve Health, Safety and Environmental compliance. Participate in Safety Improvement activities and report all incidents.

Fully use related systems to manage objectives and development that aligns with organizational and corporate priorities.

Provides small project management, maintenance planning assistance and other services that support client operations.

Provide guidance and administrative management, including responsibilities for coordinating multiple contractor teams and indirect interactions with shop supervision, resource discussions for technicians available, craftspeople, contracted resources, and administrative support personnel. Organizationally responsible for ensuring contracted work is completed on time and efficiently, including the management of related work orders and purchase requisitions.

Experience and Education Requirements: Construction Management experience, Certified apprenticeship program, Associates Degree, Bachelors Engineering degree or equivalent experience.

Other Requirements and Responsibilities: Must have good people skills to interact and communicate effectively to internal, external customers, share knowledge with craftsmen and peers including process, building and design engineers, and scheduler planner. This position also requires knowledge and capability to monitor daily work activities with related database system, MS Outlook(email), calendar and including word document process.

Physical Requirements: Must be able perform daily activities (inspections) that require extensive walking, the ability to work in high places, climb stairs and ladders up to and above 8 feet.
