The  Analyst will perform underwriting and origination functions requiring strong analytical/quantitative skills. The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail, high energy, and flexibility to a high-paced deadline driven organization. This individual will need to work well in a team environment, be able to represent management with professional courtesy and acumen, and deliver flawless work output.

Responsibilities:

• Perform investment underwriting of preferred equity and mezzanine debt real estate investments
• Review borrower and broker offering memorandums, in conjunction with market dynamics to arrive at investment conclusion
• Provide team with weekly updates corresponding to deal flow and potential investment opportunities 
• Prepare materials for Investment Committee review of potential investment
• Prepare drafts of investment term sheet
• Correspond with brokers and borrowers to identify new opportunities and finalize preliminary underwriting investment analysis

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree – Finance, Accounting, and/or Economics
• GPA – 3.5 or Above

Required Skills:

• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Proficient in the following Microsoft Office Suites: Excel; PowerPoint; and Word
• Understanding of the following Microsoft Office Suites: Access 
• Microsoft PowerPoint - Proficient
• Microsoft Access – Beginner/Intermediate

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft VBA – Beginner/Intermediate
• SQL – Beginner/Intermediate

Recommended Experience:

• 1 – 2 Years
