COMPANY OVERVIEW
Argosy Real Estate Partners (“Argosy”) is a real estate investment management company that specializes in
opportunistic real estate investments. Through joint venture structures, Argosy partners with entrepreneurial
operating partners possessing significant local market knowledge and a demonstrated track record of operating
success. Argosy currently has over $975 million of real estate assets under management. Argosy is currently
investing its fourth discretionary commingled opportunity fund and its first discretionary commingled core plus fund.
Argosy Capital manages capital on behalf of institutional investors, family offices and high net worth individuals.
The core of Argosy’s investment strategy is investing with experienced operators in properties that provide significant
upside potential and controllable downside protection. Working closely with our partners, Argosy employs a
disciplined acquisition approach focused on low cost basis, risk mitigation, value creation, and multiple exit strategies
to generate superior risk-adjusted rates of return to its investors. Argosy invests in primary and secondary markets
throughout the U.S. with a focus on the multifamily, lodging, office, retail, and residential land sectors. Argosy is
based in Wayne, PA (suburban Philadelphia) with regional offices in San Francisco and Denver. 

THE POSITION
Argosy is seeking a highly energetic and motivated Associate or Senior Associate to join the investment team.
Argosy employs a cradle-to-grave approach with its investments, and the Associate/Senior Associate’s
responsibilities will include underwriting new opportunities as well as asset management of existing investments.
Specific duties will include evaluating new investment opportunities, financial analysis, preparation of investment
committee memos, internal presentations and reporting for the investment committee and fund investors. The
candidate will work closely with other team members, joint venture partners, brokers and consultants.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a small, entrepreneurial team, work directly with senior
management, and gain exposure to a wide variety of real estate transactions nationwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary areas of focus include:
Investment underwriting, financial analysis, due diligence, market analysis, site inspections, managing
documentation, and investment closings.
Preparation of verbal and written presentations to the investment committee in relation to proposed
transactions and existing investments.
Market, economic and demographic research to evaluate markets for existing or potential investments.
Asset management of existing property investments. This will include communicating with joint venture
partners, preparing asset reports, maintaining and updating financial projections, preparing property
valuations, property site inspections, market research and analysis.
Working with senior team members on business development.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a major in finance, real estate, accounting, or economics.
MBA preferred, but not required.
Prior experience (3-5 years) working in the commercial real estate industry.
Strong understanding of all aspects of real estate investment, development and financing processes,
including but not limited to market analysis, financial analysis, property valuation, and capital markets.
Team player who is organized, proactive, self-directed and conscientious.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, particularly with respect to real estate finance metrics.
Advanced excel modeling capabilities. ARGUS experience a plus.
High level of initiative and strong work ethic; creativity and entrepreneurial spirit; track record of leadership.
Some travel required.

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary; bonus based on individual and firm performance.
