POSITION SUMMARY
- The Communications Director (“CD”) will be responsible for development, coordination and delivery of investor communications and marketing materials for a rapidly growing real estate investment management firm.
- He or she will spearhead the writing, editing, and coordinating of investment letters and other communication materials with support from senior management and other investment team members.
- The right candidate must be comfortable in a deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate marketing and comprehensive client reporting for investors, consultants and financial advisors.
- Create and maintain presentation materials for existing and prospective investors, including slideshows, PPMs and quarterly call materials.
- Create and maintain a standard due diligence questionnaire for any new products; complete any individual questionnaires for investors or consultants in conjunction with new products.
- Manage investor portal content to make for a user-friendly experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related accredited designation preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in investor relations, asset management, equity research, marketing or communications.
- Strong analytical, investigative and computer skills, specifically with PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Enjoys the writing process.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Entrepreneurial attitude.
- Ability to resolve matters independently.
