EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
· Assist owner with due diligence and follow-up on property transactions.
· Ability to underwrite acquisitions.
· Interpret and abstract leases, as well as and process lease options and renewals in Yardi Voyager system.
· Calculate and track tenant recoveries including CAM, real estate taxes and percentage rent.
· Accurately generate, review and post monthly rental charges via Yardi Voyager system.
· Consistently ensure tenant insurance requirements are up-to-date.
· Effectively communicate with tenants regarding their leases and accounts, rent commencements, rent increases, and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
· Manage and supervise operations and maintenance of properties.
· Maintain general ledger as it pertains to property revenue and expenses.
· Process, update and thoroughly review financial statements, rent rolls, arrears reports and other ad-hoc property reports.
· Generate property spreadsheets tracking critical dates, revenue, lease terms, and tenant-specific analytics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum 3 years of Asset Manager experience in commercial real estate required.
· Financial analysis/modeling skills required.
· Skilled in Yardi Voyager.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Tenant and client service experience.
· Expert interpersonal skills, allowing for clear communication with colleagues, tenants, owners, etc., while exercising tact and diplomacy.
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks while keeping flexibility.
· Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
· Team player but can work independently.
· Accounting experience required.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
