Description


The Role

 

You are responsible for managing structured procurement activities, contract administration and associated processes across various real estate asset classes. You will support the company’s strategic direction and assist with building an organization that will expertly execute procurement control processes. You will promote strategic and operational functions for volume aggregation and standardization, supplier base optimization, and development of cost-saving synergies across asset classes. You will also assist in identifying and implementing best practices in all procurement processes and build supportive internal and external relationships across functions and organizations. You will serve as a trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders – providing expertise and advice on existing processes and new approaches to sourcing and contract management while also serving as a subject matter expert (SME), technical expert, and coach for colleagues on compliance with relevant company policies and procedures.

 

The Person

 

You should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent with 2 - 4 years of relevant experiences. To succeed in this role, you should possess knowledge of procurement best-practices, with exposures to Real Estate and/or Facilities Management. You should have the ability to understand contract language terms/conditions, business/ financial principles, and a strong ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Other desirable skills include strong analytical, problem solving, decision making, and influencing skills, along with effective negotiation skills. In addition, you will need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to present to different organizational levels. MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with e-procurement systems are preferred.
