Real Estate Investment Company. in NYC is looking for a Senior Accountant with 3 to 5 years of experience
This position will be primarily responsible for the preparation of financial statements and the recording of property acquisitions, dispositions and financings. Tasks include the analysis of property trial balances and general ledgers, recording of adjusting journal entries, analysis of company-wide accounting procedures, and performing various calculations and analysis as requested by company executives.
Minimum requirements include:
- Bachelors in Accounting
- At least 3-5 years of accounting (preferably real estate) experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Skills to work independently under highly defined deadlines
- Highly developed sense of accountability
Salary Commensurate with Experience.
