Controller – Real Estate

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's accounting department and all financial reporting. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining all accounting procedures and controls. 

Responsibilities

·       Oversee all accounting and reporting

·       Experience with multi-entity accounting and reporting

·       Management company, development company and development project accounting

·       Experience with RealPage or similar real estate accounting software

·       We will need this person to become a RealPage superuser

·       Understanding of JV agreements, operating agreements, loan agreements

·       Ability to model distribution waterfalls

·       Budgeting

·       Cash flow reporting and projections

·       Work closely with site operations team to establish process and procedure

·       Treasury management

·       Financial statement analysis

Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Accounting

·       7+ Years of Real Estate Accounting Experience

·       Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

·       CPA preferred

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Self-starter with the ability to lead and execute
