Description


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial models for multifamily development opportunities, including pro forma P&L, capital budget, development plan, and equity returns to Cedar Street and its capital partner(s).
  • Support the negotiation, due diligence, and closing processes for land acquisitions, construction loans, and JV equity partner operating agreements.
  • Perform market research, identifying and summarizing demand drivers, rent and occupancy trends, supply pipeline, as well as zoning and entitlement information.
  • Prepare investment memorandums and present internally to the investment team.
  • Engage in on-going asset management activities, including debt strategy, refinancing, and dispositions.
  • Review asset-level performance for portfolio assets, assessing upcoming capital needs and ability to make distributions to investors.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or another related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant financial experience in the real estate industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
  • Superior analytical ability, effective communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and market databases (e.g. CoStar).
