Job Description:

Looking for a customer-centric, highly organized, motivated marketing professional to join our Capital Markets Property Marketing Studio. Will oversee a team that supports Capital Market brokerage teams throughout the West coast. Responsible for spearheading property marketing efforts and leveraging the platform to deliver best-of-class materials to targeted investors.

Essential Duties:

  • Manages a team and provides training, monitoring of performance issues, promotes a team environment, provides work direction, and promotes an environment of innovation and thought leadership
  • Help implement new process and procedures that help promote efficiencies by leveraging the CBRE platform
  • Ensures compliance with company standards with the company logo and consistency of marketing products
  • Responsible for career development of team members and continual improvement of work product
  • Prepares monthly and quarterly marketing reports for management
  • Build meaningful relationships with our sales teams, learn their property marketing process and preferences, and be seen as their partner in marketing
  • Work with these individual sales teams to determine the correct marketing approach for their listing and advise them on the appropriate strategy, deliverables, and resource model
  • Come to the table with great marketing ideas, concepts, and solutions for executing cutting-edge ideas
  • Be able to provide creative direction, project management, and branding ideas
  • Manage the creation of collateral to market our commercial real estate listings: including, first and foremost, offering memorandums, brochures and eblasts.
  • Understand the team's schedule of active projects by using our project management platform, Function Fox, and ensure team is using the program to its full potential
  • Ensure CBRE brand and legal requirements are met
  • Ensure deadlines and expectations are met
  • Coordinate with local business development and national property marketing teams to share knowledge about our current listings, commonly used assets like maps and photos, and best practices for managing your projects and marketing our listings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.


Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and a minimum of five years of related experience and/or training.

Communication Skills

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.

Financial Knowledge

Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.

Other Skills and Abilities

Requires knowledge of all software used by personnel in the department

Scope of Responsibility

Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.
