JOSS Realty Partners is currently looking to hire an Analyst based in New York, NY. The position includes responsibility for portfolio management, investor reporting / relations, market research, monitoring existing investments, and supporting senior management in various tasks related to asset management and the execution of new real estate transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage our Investor Relations platform, including use of investor management programs
- Prepare variance reports outlining performance of current portfolio
- Work with property managers and controllers on matters including lease administration, billing, invoice payments, expense payments, and loan management
- Send distributions to investors through banking platforms associated with each asset
- Conduct market research and create quarterly reports for existing investments
- Communicate with CPAs to collect and circulate tax information
- In-depth analysis of financial reports and monthly ledgers
- Assist in various tasks and perform ad hoc analyses related to due diligence, fundraising and portfolio management
Position Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required
- 1-2 years of experience in commercial real estate industry
- Detail oriented and strong analytical skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products
- Knowledge of Argus is preferable, but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and contribute to JOSS’ goals and growth
