JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS:
Atlas Capital Group, LLC is looking for a full-time Acquisitions Analyst to join the team in New York. The Acquisitions Analyst will primarily provide analytical and quantitative support to the team for all new investments across all markets and product types. The Acquisitions Analyst will also provide support on refinancings, recapitalizations, dispositions, and other select investments-related activities.
The ideal candidate will have the following job responsibilities:
- Produce complex financial models using Microsoft Excel and Argus to analyze prospective investment opportunities across all property types, geographies, etc.
- Provide analytical support during the due diligence phase of new investment opportunities including, but not limited to, reviewing leases, financials, third party reports and surveys, and market data
- Perform market and submarket research, including rental comps, sales comps, and economic and demographic trends that may have an impact on potential acquisitions or new investment strategies
- Assist in preparing memoranda and materials for internal investment committee as well as for external co-investment and debt fundraising
- Provide analytical support through select refinancing, recapitalization, and disposition processes
- Collaborate with the asset management, property management, accounting, development, and construction teams to accurately underwrite new acquisitions and prepare the teams for the acquisition and operation of new investments
- Assist the fund management and investor relations teams with specific requests and ad hoc analyses
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- 2-3 years of real estate industry experience relevant to the above listed job responsibilities
- Strong understanding of investment fundamentals and a working knowledge of cash flow modeling and analysis
- Act as a team player with strong interpersonal/communication skills and writing abilities
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Argus Enterprise required
