Description
A New York City-based real estate investment and development company is looking to hire an industrial acquisition analyst or associate to join its newly created low-coverage industrial platform. The position will report directly to the head of the group as well as the principals of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Executing an acquisition from start to finish, including deal screening, underwriting, broker or seller communications, and term sheet and contract negotiations.
- Creating acquisition tracking reports.
- Performing property/acquisition due diligence.
- Providing market analysis including market trends.
- Maintaining and running financial models on existing assets and acquisitions.
- Investor reporting.
- Assisting in lease analysis, tenant underwriting, and lease negotiations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of real estate experience. At least 2 years of industrial experience preferred.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong attention to details and organization.
- Must be proficient in Excel, Argus, Word and PowerPoint.
