About Us:

ProperXPM is a boutique real estate property management company specializing in multifamily asset and backed by private equity to accelerate rapid growth. As we continue to innovate and aggressive expand our portfolio, we are seeking a dynamic Asset Management Professional to join our team.

 

Position Overview:

As an Asset Management Professional, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the performance and strategic direction of our multifamily property portfolios. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize asset value, drive operational efficiency, and achieve financial objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive asset management strategies to maximize returns and mitigate risks across the multifamily portfolio.
  • Monitor property performance, financial metrics, and market trends to identify opportunities for value enhancement and operational improvement.
  • Directly manage and oversee a portfolio with totaling 10,000 units, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and performance targets.
  • Travel as needed, approximately one week per month, to visit and assess asset locations, conduct property inspections, and engage with on-site teams to address operational challenges and opportunities.
  • Partner closely with on-site teams to streamline operations, optimize leasing strategies, and enhance tenant satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis and utilize performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the portfolio.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance portfolio returns, including revenue optimization, expense management, and capital expenditure planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including acquisitions, development, finance, and investor relations, to support the execution of asset management strategies and achieve overall business objectives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory trends impacting the multifamily real estate industry.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence within the asset management team and across the organization.
  • Leverage technological advancements, including AI and machine learning, to enhance automated asset management reporting, streamline processes, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to identify and implement innovative solutions for data analysis, predictive modeling, and performance tracking within the asset management function.
  • Implement and manage offshore support for Asset Management capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in real estate technology and proactively explore opportunities to integrate AI-driven tools and platforms into asset management workflows.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 5 years of specialized experience in institutional multifamily asset management, with a preference for candidates with experience on the ownership side.
  • Proven track record of success in optimizing the financial and operational performance of multifamily properties.
  • Strong financial acumen, with proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate teams, drive results, and lead change initiatives.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable with a high level of autonomy and adept at managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in real estate asset management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience managing off-shore support resources and collaborating across international teams is preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest in leveraging AI and technology to enhance asset management processes and reporting capabilities.

 

Benefits:

  • Compensation: Base Salary between $125,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, supplemented by performance bonuses and the potential for equity participation in projects.
